Intent of the process

**COLLECTIVE PROCESS** A pool of qualified or pre-qualified candidates may be established from this process and may be used to staff similar positions within Shared Services Canada (SSC) with various tenures and/or with various security profiles.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).

Notes:
1. The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
o A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
o An acceptable* combination of education, training and/or experience.

*An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience described as successful completion of two years of secondary school, plus three years of experience in the administration field, i.e. such as an administrative clerk or support clerk.

Proof of education will be required prior to appointment.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE

Experience in providing administrative support services;

Experience researching, analyzing and/or synthesizing information from various sources;

Experience in preparing correspondence;

Experience in tracking data (i.e. documents and work assignments);

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
