Duties

The Capital Markets Risk Assessment Services Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Toronto Office in the position of Senior Supervisor. The position will be part of a team involved in the analysis of FRFI’s inherent market and liquidity risks, and assessment of market risk controls.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
● A university degree with specialization in accounting, business, commerce, economics, mathematics OR an acceptable combination of education, experience, and/or training.

Degree equivalency

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
● Recent and significant experience in the financial services industry* in Financial Analysis, Risk Management, or in the regulation of financial institutions.

*Financial services industry experience is defined as experience working in a financial institution, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, wealth management firms, and accounting firms (dealing with audits), as well as government departments that directly deal with the supervision and regulation of these institutions.

● Recent experience assessing risk management practices related to market and/or liquidity risk.
