Our office is located at 159 Cleopatra Drive, Nepean.
The results of this process will initially be used to staff one (1) position indeterminately. The position being staffed is bilingual imperative BBB/BBB. However, in the case where none of the candidates would meet the official language proficiency, candidates meeting all other essential qualifications could be considered for a bilingual non imperative BBB/BBB appointment. A pool of qualified candidates will be established to staff similar positions on an indeterminate, determinate or acting basis, within Transport Canada in the National Capital Region.

EDUCATION
ED: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in library and information science.
EXPERIENCE
EX1: Experience in managing a library or reference center and in managing electronic bibliographic and information management database systems or catalogues.
EX2: Experience in supervising subordinates.
EX3: Experience in researching and writing briefing materials or reports for management or staff.
EDUCATION
AED: Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized post-secondary institution.
EXPERIENCE
AEX1: Experience working in a special technical library.
AEX2: Experience working in a regulatory environment.
