*Monitoring positions: Toronto-based position. Candidates are required to work in the Toronto office.
*Review positions: Toronto-based position. There is a possibility that the successful candidate may be able to work remotely from one of the OSFI offices across Canada; the one closest to their place of residence. Working remotely will require travel to Toronto.
The Credit Risk Division is looking for highly motivated individuals in the positions of Manager and Credit Risk Analyst for the Review and Monitoring teams. The Credit Risk Division undertakes assessments of the credit exposures and related risk management practices of federally regulated financial institutions.
This selection process may be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates, which could be used to staff similar or identical positions with various linguistic profiles and requirements, security profiles and various tenures.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
● A university degree with specialization in commerce, accounting, business, finance, economics or other relevant field OR an acceptable combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
● Recent, significant and progressive experience in the financial services industry*, in one or more of the following areas:
o Credit risk management
o Credit adjudication, operating with a delegated lending authority
o Transaction structuring
o Credit risk identification and assessing credit risk management practices in an Internal Audit or similar function.
*Financial services industry experience is defined as experience working in a financial institution, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, wealth management firms, and accounting firms (dealing with audits), as well as government departments that directly deal with the supervision and regulation of these institutions.

● Significant experience in critiquing risk management practices and identifying key risk areas in institutions.

● Knowledge of risk and portfolio management processes.
