The Animal Market Information Section collects and disseminates red meat, dairy and poultry sector data providing accurate, unbiased, reliable and timely market information. Its Market Information Officers compile, analyze and report sector data in support of stakeholder needs.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used for similar permanent or temporary employment for the location indicated for this process.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two (2) years of a post-secondary school program with acceptable specialization in social science, statistics, library/archival work, law-related field or business administration.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in compiling, analysing, and organizing statistical information for reports/studies.
Experience in database functionality, in searching, and in exporting and importing data from other databases.
Experience in using various applications such as: Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
ASSET (OTHER) QUALIFICATIONS:
ASSET (OTHER) EDUCATION:
Degree from a recognized post secondary institution in Agriculture.
Degree from a recognized post secondary institution in Economics.
ASSET (OTHER) EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with animal industry stakeholders.
