Intent of the process

A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions within Shared Services Canada in the National Capital Region with various tenures (specified period or indeterminate) with a linguistic requirement of Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC, as well as various security requirements.

EDUCATION

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.

2. At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE

Experience managing multiple (2 or more) digital communications projects simultaneously.

Experience in conducting research and statistical analysis for Web.

Significant experience in providing Digital strategic and operational communications advice to management and/or clients.

Significant experience managing, leading and delivering on digital projects or services.

Significant experience in developing and managing Internet, Extranet and/or Intranet sites.

*Significant experience is defined as having a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the stated area.

ASSET EXPERIENCE

Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary work groups on digital communications activities.

Experience developing, implementing and monitoring Web and new media policies, procedures and quality standards.

Experience in conducting Web content reviews, Web content planning and design, identifying content gaps, developing analysis reports, with recommendations and action plans.

Experience in the planning, development and implementation of a Web information architecture (WIA) using a variety of information sources.

Experience developing and maintaining performance indicators to report on Web performance measurement activities.

Experience managing contracts.

Experience managing human resources.
