Intent of the process

The result of this process will be used to staff on a temporary basis. Indeterminate opportunities are anticipatory and may be staffed if a position should become vacant. A pool of qualified candidates may be established from this process to staff similar positions with various tenures.

A covering letter in 4,000 words (maximum) "The candidate’s COVER LETTER will be the primary screening tool. Candidates must clearly demonstrate in their cover letter how they meet each education and essential qualification outlined in the Statement of Criteria. Resumes will be used as a secondary source to validate the education and experience described in the cover letter. Cover letters must include subheadings for each qualification and a short paragraph outlining how, when and where the candidate obtained the experience."

Education:
Successful completion of a two year diploma program at an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another speciality relevant to the position

Degree equivalency

Experience:
• Providing IT related client service
• Providing user training
• Microcomputer setup
