This process will be used to establish a pool of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with same official language proficiency (English or French essential and Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB and CBC/CBC), various tenures (Indeterminate, Temporary) using various staffing mechanisms (Indeterminate appointment, Term appointment, Acting appointment, Deployment, Secondment, Assignment) and in various locations in the National Capital Region of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Education:
FOR ALL STREAMS:
ED) A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution (the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate).
EXPERIENCE:
FOR ALL STREAMS:
EX1) Experience in preparing written material, including the development of audit reports, findings, and recommendations and presenting information to senior management (Director level or equivalent and above).
FOR STREAM 1 only (AS-05):
EX2) Recent* and Significant** experience in performing all phases of audit projects that respect professional standards.
FOR STREAM 2 only (AS-06):
EX3) Recent* and Significant** experience in performing all phases of audit projects that respect professional standards.
*Recent experience normally means the five (5) years preceding the closing date of the process.
**Significant experience for all streams means the breadth and depth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of specific and related work over a period of approximately 3 years for STREAM 2 and 2 years for STREAM 1.

EX4) Experience in supervising the work of team members.

ABILITIES:

ASSET EDUCATION:
AED1) Possession of a recognized professional accounting designation (i.e. CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA).
AED2) Possession of a professional certification from a recognized internal auditing association (i.e. CIA, CGAP or CISA).
FOR ALL STREAMS
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
AEX1) Experience in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. other government organizations such as the Office of the Auditor General).
AEX2) Experience in following up on the implementation of management action plans in response to recommendations from audits.
AEX3) Experience in the use of audit management software (e.g. TeamMate).
AEX4) Experience in developing risk-based internal audit plans.
AEX5) Experience in working on quality assurance activities within an internal audit function.
AEX6) Experience in data analytics such as extracting and analyzing data using predictive modeling tools or other analytics software.
ORGNIZATIONAL NEEDS
