Intent of this process is to staff 8 permanent positions in the Gatineau area. A pool of candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions of variable duration within Shared Services Canada in Gatineau, Ottawa, Montreal or Moncton.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
Candidates with foreign education credentials are required to provide proof of Canadian equivalency.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience delivering administrative and support services to clients (managers, advisors and employees).
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a service desk.
Experience working providing administrative support in Human Resources (HR)*.
Recent(1) experience in entering, correcting, searching and manipulating data in an HR Management System, such as PeopleSoft and HRMS (Human resources management system).
Experience in maintaining data and generating statistical reports in an electronic/technological environment using specialized software, and maintains files, records, correspondence, case tracking or logs and Bring Forward systems.
* HR activities encompasses: classification, recruitment and staffing, strategic planning workforce analysis, recognition, training, orientation, staff relations, official languages, work force adjustment, workplace relations, performance management, occupational health and safety, delegation and employment equity.
(1)Recent is defined as experience acquired with the performance of the functions within the last three (3) years.
Willingness and ability to work occasional overtime.
