Intent of the process

This process will be used to staff the above-mentioned position.

A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions within the Privy Council Office with various tenures (acting, specified period or indeterminate positions), various security clearance levels and/or various language requirements.

EDUCATION:

Successful completion of secondary diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

EX1. Recent* experience in the management of a filing system;
EX2. Recent* experience recording financial documents in a database to facilitate document tracking;
EX3. Recent* experience creating vendors in SAP;
EX4. Recent* experience scanning financial documents;
EX5. Recent experience using a photocopier, printer and scanner; and
EX6. Recent* experience supplying various administrative services.

* Recent experience: Recent experience is defined as experience normally acquired within the last 12 months.

KNOWLEDGE:

K1. Knowledge of SAP (Financial System);
K2. Knowledge of the mandate of the Privy Council Office ;
K3. Knowledge of planning techniques to manage priorities and deadlines;
K4. Knowledge of filing techniques;
K5. Knowledge of the Policies, Directives and Guidelines related to Information Management and Recordkeeping in the Federal Government of Canada; and
K6. Knowledge of Roles and Responsibilities related to Information Management in the Federal Government of Canada.

Conditions of employment

Secret security clearance

Must be available to work overtime at short notice.
