The successful candidate will conduct wetland water and gas research from various wetland research sites. Regular sampling and analysis of data will be required (i.e. water, gas, biodiversity). Physical research site parameters will also measured on a regular basis. The successful candidate will make recommendations for on-farm wetland systems regarding their value, management, and effectiveness.

Currently enrolled or willing to enroll as of January 2018 in a Master of Science Program from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in environmental or earth science, or biology.
Experience taking soil, water, plant and gas samples.
Experience in using methodologies for water quality parameters and greenhouse gases.
Experience using spreadsheet analyses programs such as Excel.
Experience in conducting agriculture related field work.
Experience in interpreting and analyzing results statistically.
Experience writing scientific communication (posters, presentations, papers, etc.).
English essential
