Duties

This position is responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support to various divisions in the Deposit Taking Supervision Sector. Activities include supporting communication with stakeholders, and coordinating meetings and support material. The candidate must be results oriented, with a demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also possess strengths in learning new technical systems at OSFI.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
● Successful completion of post-secondary education OR Completion of secondary education and approximately 3 to 5 years of applicable work experience.

Degree equivalency

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
● Recent and significant experience in providing administrative support to senior management, including the coordination of travel arrangements and correspondence in the financial services industry.
● Significant experience in planning, preparing and coordinating meetings including the preparation of briefing notes, supporting documents and following up on action items.
● Experience using and maintaining electronic and paper record keeping systems.
● Significant experience in using Microsoft Office Suite.

*Financial services industry experience is defined as experience working in a financial institution, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, wealth management firms, and accounting firms (dealing with audits), as well as government departments that directly deal with the supervision and regulation of these institutions.
