EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in providing general administrative support services in an office setting.

Experience providing service to the public.
Experience in using MS Office such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.

ASSETS QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a post-secondary or professional diploma in a field related to the position, such as Office Technology, Administration or Secretarial.
Experience in preparing statistics and producing reports.
Experience in managing and monitoring the flow of information including following-up on files or information management.
Experience preparing documents such as letters, memoranda, briefing notes or reports.
Experience providing financial support services (services may include, but are not limited to, verifying and correcting financial claims, controlling and monitoring petty cash, preparing financial status reports, etc.).
Experience using an electronic document management system (such as Apollo, GCDOCS).
Experience inputting, extracting and reconciling financial transactions with an SAP equivalent financial system (e.g. Corporate Administrative System (CAS)).
Experience with cash/cashier handling duties.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work overtime as required.
Ability and willingness to travel using government owned vehicles.
Reliability Status security clearance - or Secret.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Agree to work in collaboration with armed employees.
Applicants must complete the Unsupervised Internet Test of Cognitive Ability - Level 1 as part of the screening for this selection process. This test assesses general problem solving and reasoning ability. You will have 60 minutes to complete the test. You must complete the test before you submit your application for this position.
