In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary school program* with acceptable specialization in social science, statistics, or a law-related field, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

*Note – As per the Treasury Board of Canada Qualification Standards for the Economics and Social Sciences (EC) group, indeterminate employees of the Government of Canada who occupied “SI” classified positions on June 21, 2009 are deemed to meet the education requirement for this position.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
• Experience working as part of a team in support of strategic discussions or negotiations that involve indigenous, governmental or non-governmental organizations.
• Experience building networks and liaising with internal stakeholders with the aim of advancing key files or issues within an organization.
• Experience gathering, analysing and summarizing complex information.
• Experience providing strategic advice to management.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education - University degree in a specialty relevant to the position such as public administration, political science, law or history.

Degree equivalency

• Experience working in northern or Indigenous environments.
• Experience leading negotiations with Indigenous, governmental, or non-governmental institutions
