You will be required to show how you demonstrate the essential and asset qualifications (i.e. Education, Experience and/or Occupational Certification) for the initial screening through online screening questions. Your resume will need to corroborate the information. It is NOT sufficient to simply state that the qualifications are met or to provide a listing of current or past responsibilities. Through your screening question answers, you must clearly demonstrate HOW, WHEN, and WHERE the qualification was met through substantiation by examples. Failure to provide the above information in the format required may result in your application being rejected from the process.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR OCCUPATION CERTIFICATION:

• A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in providing administrative support services in staffing.

• Experience in entering, correcting and searching data in a human resources Management System such as Peoplesoft or MyGCHR.

• Recent* experience in using spreadsheets, word processing and emails such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.

Recent* experience is defined as an experience acquired within the last two (2) years.

• Experience working as a Human Resources Assistant in Staffing and/or Classification in the Public Service.

• Experience in entering, correcting, searching and manipulating data in MyGCHR.

• Experience using Microsoft Visio software.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice.
