A written exam and interview will be administered. References will be sought.
Candidates must submit a cover letter which clearly demonstrates how they meet each of the essential education and experience qualifications. It is not sufficient to only state that the requirement is met or to provide a listing of current responsibilities, rather the candidate must provide concrete examples that illustrate how they meet the requirement. One suitable approach is to use each screening criteria as a heading, and provide a description outlining how that criteria is met. Failure to provide an appropriate cover letter could result in the application being eliminated from the selection process. Candidates will not be solicited for incomplete or possible missing information. Resumes will be used as a secondary source to validate the experience mentioned in cover letter.
Asset qualifications could be used at the screening stage. Please ensure that your cover letter clearly indicates how you meet the asset experience qualifications where applicable. A person may be appointed even though he/she does not meet any or all of the asset qualifications. However, it may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
For this selection process, we will be communicating with candidates by email.
