Duties

ECCC is looking for a person with Real Property experience that is interested in developing and managing new processes for capital project submittals, greening building operations, and general building operational improvement. This position is the link between the building managers, project management and management team. The position reports to the Portfolio Manager of Technical Services in a portfolio that is made up of mostly ECCC owned laboratory buildings.

Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates will be created and may be used to staff similar positions within Environment and Climate Change Canada in the National Capital Region, with various tenures, language requirements and profiles, and conditions of employment.

EDUCATION

Successful completion of a post-secondary program in a technical or science field relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

1. Experience in building operations, heating and ventilation, and construction.

2. Experience in Service Delivery in a technical group.

3. Experience in providing Business Improvement Solutions.

4. Experience in preparing Strategic Plans, Business Cases, Investment Plans or Project Plans.

5. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams related to real property (mechanical, electrical, architectural, plumbing, etc.).

Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates will be established from this process which may be used to staff similar positions with various bilingual language requirements(i.e. bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC).
