A pool of fully assessed candidates may be established to staff identical or similar positions within Audit and Evaluation Branch with various language requirements, tenures and various security requirements.

EDUCATION
AS-06 and AS-07
Graduation with a degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution.
*Degree: A baccalaureate or higher level degree, as established by educational authorities.
EXPERIENCE
AS-06 and AS-07
- Recent and significant experience* in all phases of audit projects: planning, conducting and reporting of internal or external audits (such as performance and financial audits)
- Recent and significant experience* in providing advice and making recommendations to management
- Recent and significant experience* in presenting the findings of audits to management
AS-07 only
- Recent and significant experience* in managing staff
NOTE:

*Recent and significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with the performance of the duties for a period of approximately four (4) years in the last seven (7) years.
AS-07
*Recent and significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with the performance of the duties for a period of approximately five (5) years in the last eight (8) years.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
AS-06 and AS-07
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with *specialization in accounting, finance, business/public administration, commerce or economics
*Specialization refers to the candidate having majored in one of the listed areas
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
AS-06 and AS-07
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or a recognized professional accounting designation (i.e., CPA-CA, CPA-CMA, CGAP or CPA-CGA) or Certified Fraud Examiner
EXPERIENCE
AS-06 and AS-07
- Experience in development of risk based audit planning
- Experience in using IDEA or ACL for data analysis

Secret security clearance - This factor is not used at the pre-selection stage. The hiring department is responsible for the security clearance process.
