Successful completion of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
Experience in at least three (3) of the following:
- Experience working in a warehouse, shipping environment or distribution center
- Experience in receipt or issue or maintenance or storage of goods or equipment
- Experience shipping or receiving goods
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience in storage and handling of Hazardous Materials
Experience using computer software applications including Word, Excel or Outlook.
Experience using warehouse management system software or a computerized inventory system

Operational Requirements :
Depending upon the position being staffed one or more may apply:
May be required to obtain and retain a MHE (Materiel Handling Equipment) Certificate
Willing and able to work in a warehouse environment with minimal supervision
Willing and able to climb ladders and work on elevated devices
Working indoors and/or outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Willing and able to work overtime as pre-authorized
Security – Various security clearance requirements (Reliability, Confidential, Secret, Top Secret)
Depending upon the position being staffed one or more may apply:
Willing and able to obtain a DND 404 to operate Materiel Handling Equipment
Willing and able to lift up to 23 kg in accordance with safe work practices
Possess a valid, unrestricted, provincial or territorial driver license
Must wear CSA approved safety footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
