The CHRC wishes to reinforce its national voice on human rights in the country and tell the stories of Canadians facing human rights challenges. At the heart of our work is the promotion and protection of the rights of all Canadians; our Canada includes everyone.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. EDUCATION:
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Notes:
1. Based on their education, training and/or experience, indeterminate incumbents of positions in the IS classification are deemed to meet the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor's degree without specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.
2. At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard.
EXPERIENCE:
- Recent* and significant** experience in website development. Coding in PHP with MySQL administration.
- Recent* and significant** experience working with content management systems (Drupal7)
- Experience in project management
- Experience in providing technical advice to management.
*Recent defined as within the last five (5) years.
** Significant experience means experience that was a core part of the candidate’s employment for a period that would provide the depth and experience normally obtained in three (3) years.
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
Experience with any of the following:
- HTML/XHTML
- CSS
- XML
- Javascript
Experience with social media components (Third-party APIs)
Experience with ASP/.NET
Experience with mobile development
Experience with HTML5/CSS3
