Duties

FCAC is looking to staff various administrative and support type positions. We promise that:

• You will play a large part in the effectiveness of the Agency. You’ll be helping to keep all the wheels turning!
• Every day is different. You’ll provide support for whatever help is needed at the Agency on that day!
• You get to meet a variety of different people. You’ll be interacting with everyone from administrative/support officers to senior executives!

Work environment

FCAC is a separate agency that offers the same pension and benefits plans as the core federal public service. Intent of the process

From this process, we may establish a pool of candidates for use in staffing a variety of positions at various levels with various tenures, language requirements and security levels.

We may appoint candidates by applying one or more of the following criteria:
• breadth, depth, type of specific asset experience
• matching individual experience assets or qualifications to the Agency’s needs
• level of one or more competencies/qualifications

Degree equivalency

Experience in providing administrative support services in an office environment*

*Administrative support services is defined as, but not limited to: managing calendars/emails; writing agendas and minutes for meetings; scheduling and organizing meetings; making travel and hospitality arrangements/claims; ensuring the distribution, control and filing of documents/correspondence; and other related duties.

4) Experience in editing, proofreading or verifying correspondence or reports

5) Experience providing contracting or procurement support services

6) Experience providing accommodations, telecommunications and/or security services

7) Experience in project management and project coordination activities

8) Experience with a correspondence tracking system

9) Experience working in a fast-paced or high volume environment (e.g. call center, help line, marketing, sales, or surveys)

10) Experience working in a IM and/or IT environment

11) Experience providing support in the processing of access to information requests

12) Experience working in a human resources environment

13) Experience working in a legal or law enforcement environment
