Provides lawfully authorized intercept monitoring and analysis of private telecommunications services to directly support criminal investigations of the RCMP, other international, federal, provincial, municipal law enforcement agencies, departments, and organizations pursuant to judicial authorizations.

The intent of the process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates to fill PO-IMA-02 Public Service (PS) positions on an indeterminate, term, casual, assignment, secondment or acting basis in London, Milton, and/or Newmarket, Ontario.

Experience applying the Criminal Code, such as Part VI pertaining to the interception of telecommunications
Experience working as an Intercept Monitor Analyst using the Central Communications Intercept System (CenCIS)

Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment. The process to obtain an RCMP security clearance may involve but is not limited to a security/reliability interview and a field investigation which includes matters of criminal activity, verification of credit/financial status, reference checks, education, employment, etc. As such, the process may take several weeks or months to complete.
