Intent of the process

A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates will be established from this process which may be used to staff similar positions within the Department of Justice with various tenures (such as: indeterminate, acting/acting extension, specified period, assignment/secondment, deployment, etc.), linguistic profiles (bilingual imperative only) and conditions of employments, which may vary according to the position to be staffed.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:

• ED1 - Successful completion of secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

• EX1 - Experience in analysing official documents (i.e.: letters, legal documents, correspondences, etc.) and in making short written summaries.
• EX2 - Experience in data entry in an employment situation.
• EX3 - Experience in conducting research with electronic tools in an employment situation.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

ASSET QUALIFICATION

EXPERIENCE:

• AEX1 - Experience in using a document management software (such as ccmMercury).

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• OP1 - Willing and able to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• OP2 - Willing and able to work overtime on short notice.
