Security and Facilities Services in both the Ottawa and Toronto office are seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team in the role of Facilities and Materiel Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of administrative duties to a client group.
This selection process may be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates, which could be used to staff similar or identical positions with various linguistic profiles and requirements, security profiles and various tenures.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
● A high school level diploma OR higher level degree OR acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
● Recent* and significant experience in the use of telecommunications systems, including video conference systems.
● Recent** and significant experience in general office and administrative procedures, including maintaining an inventory system.
● Recent** and significant experience coordinating and/or supporting facilities and material management activities.
● Recent** and significant experience liaising with property management company regarding facilities maintenance issues
● Recent** experience in scheduling, coordinating and monitoring office moves.

● Experience in using security software to produce access/ID cards.
● Recent* experience in preparing requisitions and purchasing office supplies.
● Recent* experience in coordinating the removal of surplus assets through GC surplus.
● Recent* experience in using SAP software.
● Recent* and significant experience coordinating and liaising with central agencies, property building management, and other internal and external service providers with regards to facilities, office space and administrative matters.

ASSET KNOWLEDGE
● Knowledge in using EPI Suite software.
● Knowledge of Treasury Board and PWGSC policies, related to building accommodations and material management.
● Knowledge of video conference systems and troubleshooting methods.
