EDUCATION

Graduation with a diploma from a recognized college in a Practical Nurse Program.

Degree equivalency

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION

Registration or eligibility for registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice.

EXPERIENCE

Experience working in a health care environment, including Clinical fieldwork placements, such as medical and/or surgical and/or emergency and/or a psychiatric setting.
Experience with medication administration.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION

Certificate in basic and advanced foot care management.
Certification in diabetes education or certification as a Diabetes Educator.

EXPERIENCE

Experience working with offenders in a correctional environment.
Experience in venipuncture.
Experience in health promotion programs.
Experience in Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing and/or Public Health Nursing and/or Occupational Health.
