Update: **AMENDMENT to closing date. Please do not re-apply if you have already submitted an application.**
The organization will accept applications on-line only. All job applications must therefore be submitted through the Public Service Resourcing System.
How to Apply
Respond to Screening Questions.
You will be invited to clearly demonstrate, as a candidate, if/how you meet each of the screening criteria by answering the questions in the Screening Questions section of the application. This may take more time than applying to a standard process so please think about saving your information regularly to keep from losing your work.
We strongly encourage you, when providing your answers, to provide concrete examples to illustrate how you meet each criterion identified in the questions.
When drafting your responses to the experience qualifications, we encourage you to follow this format:
1. Your answers must include where, when and how you obtained the required experience.
2. Your answers must include the period(s) in which you performed the functions of the position(s).
By providing the required information in the suggested format, you will ensure that the assessors are in a position to assess the depth, complexity and scope of your experience.
Asset Qualifications (Other Qualifications Section)
You must indicate "NO" if you do not have experience in performing a task listed in the section entitled "Other Qualifications". Responding “NO” to one or more of these non-essential experience questions will not result in the rejection of your application. If you answer “YES” to a non-essential experience question, you should provide information in the format mentioned above to ensure that the assessors are in a position to assess the depth, complexity and scope of your experience. This will ensure that you can be considered for a specific appointment where asset qualifications would be used.
A fully or partially assessed pool may be created and may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various linguistic requirements, tenures and security clearances within the Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada.
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: The intent of the process is to hire a Junior Communications Officer (in training) at the IS-02 group and level. Once the incumbent is deemed to have gained the experience, knowledge and abilities required to perform the full range of duties of a Communications Officer position (IS-03 group and level), the incumbent will be re-assessed and, if successful, may be appointed at the IS-03 level.
