An essentially qualified pool will be established from this process. Depending on the position(s) being staffed, additional asset qualifications, organizational needs, operational requirements or conditions of employment may be required and candidates in the essentially qualified pool may be assessed and required to meet these additional qualifications in order to be appointed.
There are various bilingual positions that may be staffed using this process, however there are currently two vacancies.
- There is one position in the Business Centre. The main duties of the position are as follows: Provides administrative support and is the contact for arranging all aspects of training, meetings and events. This includes accommodations, meals and training venues.
- There is one position in Official Languages. The main duties of the position are as follows: Provides administrative support and is responsible for the coordination of OL services to the Program Manager and Official Languages Advisors in the North West Region
These positions require a bilingual component, however the language of work is mainly English. A large portion of the position will require work to be completed in English.

Successful completion of two years of secondary school*; or a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
*Two years of secondary school is typically completion of grade ten
Experience providing administrative support services OR acceptable training** in the administrative support services field.
**Acceptable training is considered successful completion of an Office Administration/ Office Education program or currently enrolled in an Office Administration/ Office Education program.
Experience providing service to clients
Experience using word processing software such as Microsoft Word
Experience using spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel
A secondary school diploma* or equivalent**; or a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma
*A secondary school diploma is completion of high school, according to provincial/territorial standards.
**Equivalent means a successful completion of GED (General Education Development or General Education Diploma) testing
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university or a diploma/certificate relevant to the position.
Experience providing budget and financial support
Significant*** experience using spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel
***Significant is defined as experience beyond the basic use of spreadsheet software, including using formulas and/or tables.
Experience providing record management support
Experience scheduling test sessions or appointments such as in a physician/dentist office or learning institute
Experience using Web Forms or other versions of electronic forms
Various language requirements

The successful applicant will have to obtain, as a minimum, an RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status security clearance. The process also requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.
If you have been recently assessed on the same qualification for another position in the RCMP in Saskatchewan, that previous assessment may be used in this process.
