The immediate needs are as follow:
- Québec, Québec: 1 : 1 unilingual position (French essential) to be staffed on an indeterminate basis.
- Ottawa, Ontario: 1 unilingual position (English essential) to be staffed temporarily for a duration of 6 months with possibility of extension.
A pool of partially qualified candidates* will be established to fill similar positions with various tenures, linguistic and security requirements across Canada.
Other organizations within the core public administration will be able to use this pool to staff their positions therefore by applying to this process, you consent to your personal application-related information being shared with other government departments interested in staffing similar positions.
* By "pool of partially qualified candidates", it means that the Second Language Evaluation (SLE) will be assessed at the time of the appointment. It will be the responsibility of the hiring manager, if required for the position to staff.

Education:
• A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
Experience:
• Recent and Significant experience working with one of the main modules of Peoplesoft v.8.9 Human Resources Management System (HRMS) in the course of your daily duties.
• Experience providing advice and support to HR specialists in their interaction with PeopleSoft.
* Recent experience is experience in performing the functions during the last two years.
**Significant experience refers to the depth and breadth of experience normally acquired over a period of at least four (4) months full-time.
***The main modules are: Workforce Management, Recruiting, Position Management and Base Benefits.
Asset qualifications:
Experience extracting data and producing reports in PS Query (PeopleSoft).
Recent experience working as part of a Service Desk team.
Recent experience providing coaching.
Experience delivering technical training to groups.
Various language requirements

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft v.8.9 from a functional perspective and of the main modules (in-depth level).
• Knowledge of the interaction of HRMS data into Phoenix and its impacts.
