To staff one (1) temporary position for a 12 month period. A pool of qualified candidates resulting from this process may be established and may be used to fill similar positions with various tenures within the Canada School of Public Service.

EDUCATION
Secondary school diploma.
EXPERIENCES
Experience in operating audiovisual equipment in a live event production environment.
Experience in installing, operating, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment.
Certificate or diploma specializing in audiovisual services.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of the installation, operation, configuring and troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment.
Knowledge of broadcast systems including video cameras, switching and control systems, audio systems, and associated equipment.
ABILITIES
Ability to plan and organize work in order to meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively orally.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENT(S)
Lift, carry or move furniture or equipment weighing as much as 30 kg.
Daily hours of work will vary depending on the campus location (e.g. 7:30 am to 4:00 pm; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; 9:00 am to 5:00 pm).
Available to work overtime on short notice.
The CSPS has two campuses in the National Capital Region. The individual will be located predominantly at one campus but may be required, at management’s discretion, to work at either location (373 Sussex, Ottawa; Asticou Centre, Gatineau,QC)
