The Senior Director is responsible for contributing strategically to OSFI’s understanding of evolving prudential requirements for Federally Regulated Financial Institutions (FRFIs), and for maintaining consistency and coherence of policy in an expanding and increasingly integrated domestic and international context, all of which contribute to the safety and soundness of Canada’s financial institutions.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
● A degree from a recognized university with specialization in finance, economics, business or mathematics, or other relevant specialization OR an acceptable combination of education, experience and/or training.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
● Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and motivating a team of technical and professional staff.
● Demonstrated experience in formulating financial and risk management policies.
● Demonstrated experience in managing and communicating with multiple stakeholders, often with competing interests.
● Demonstrated experience working in and/or negotiating in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
● Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a multi-discipline environment.
