Public Services and Procurement Canada's (PSPC) (formally known as Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC)) mandate is to be a common service agency for the Government of Canada's various departments, agencies and boards. With a strong focus on quality services and sound financial stewardship, we ensure optimum value by enabling other government departments and agencies to provide their programs and services to Canadians.
The immediate intention of this selection process is to fill three indeterminate positions in Gatineau. A partially assessed pool may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions within the Department. These positions may be staffed either in Ottawa or in Gatineau for an appointment on an indeterminate or temporary basis (acting, determinate, assignment, secondment) or by deployment.
Candidates that are already occupying a PG-05 or an equivalent level (AS-06, IS-05, CS-03, PE-05, EN-ENG-03,GT-07) are encouraged to apply and may be considered for deployment

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in business administration, sciences, engineering or some other specialty relevant to the position.
Experience
E1. Recent* and extensive** experience in managing and delivering multiple concurrent and complex projects (See Note 1).
E2. Recent* experience in liaising with a variety of clients or stakeholders to resolve issues or achieve project objectives.
E3. Recent* experience in leading*** teams to deliver projects.
E4. Recent* experience coordinating and allocating the workload of a team.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduation from a university with specialization in business administration, sciences, engineering or some other specialty relevant to the position
Asset Occupational Certification
AOC1. Project Management Professional (PMP) certified designation.
AOC2. ISO 9001 lead auditor training.
AOC3. ISO 14001 lead auditor training
Asset Experience
AE1. Experience in developing, implementing or revising policies, procedures or strategic plans.
AE2. Experience in establishing and monitoring employee learning plans and performance objectives.
AE3. Experience in participating in various regional or national meetings or committees with clients or stakeholders.
AE4. Experience delivering technical advice and guidance, as well as making presentations and recommendations to management or to clients in project delivery.
AE5. Experience in managing human and financial resources.
AE6. Experience leading or providing corporate support in analyzing and developing responses to ministerial or deputy ministerial correspondence.
AE7. Experience establishing and/or maintaining Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) & Service Level Agreement (SLA) for dedicated services with clients.
