Education
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with an acceptable specialization in political science, native studies or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience defined as including at least three years working on projects and/or policies related to Aboriginal or northern affairs.
Experience
Experience in providing strategic advice and recommendations to senior management (director and above) on corporate policy and planning issues.
Experience in leading multi-disciplinary projects.
Experience in negotiating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Experience
Experience in the interpretation and application of policy, regulation, and legislation in the areas of northern resources.
Experience in providing advice and recommendations to senior management (director or above) on policy issues related to Intergovernmental and Aboriginal affairs.
