Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to establish A POOL OF QUALIFIED CANDIDATES for future vacancies of various tenures.

Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Should a PS be found qualified and selected for appointment, notification regarding the PS appointment will be posted accordingly on www.jobs.gc.ca.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives

Degree equivalency

Significant* experience in client service
Significant* experience in researching policy, procedures or legislation
Experience using automated information management systems
Experience using various software, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

*Significant experience is defined as experience normally associated with having directly performed the functions on a continuous basis for a period of approximately 2 years.

Knowledge of Information Management, including the Policy on the Management of Government Information, Access to Information Act and Privacy Act.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness and ability to work overtime.

Conditions of employment

Top Secret security clearance - of the RCMP.

Must possess a valid N.B. driver’s licence.
Willingness and ability to travel.
