Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions with various employment types and tenures (indeterminate, specified period or acting appointment, deployment, assignment, secondment). Pool could be used for acting appointments under exceptional circumstances to protect employee's indeterminate status. It may also be used to staff similar positions in other work locations within the Saskatchewan Region.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with an acceptable specialization in social sciences, community development or project management; or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed OR an acceptable combination of education, training and recent extensive experience.
(Recent experience is defined for the purpose of this selection process as meaning experience gained within the past 5 years. Extensive experience is defined as a minimum of 3 years work experience in field).

Degree equivalency

Experience in providing strategic advice and recommendations to senior management (director or above) on program issues.
Experience in leading departmental planning processes.
Experience in networking and consulting with various internal or external stakeholders.
Experience in leading a team.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

An accounting designation recognized in the Province of Saskatchewan.

Recent and extensive experience managing complex programs (extensive is minimum 3 years and recent within the past 5 years).
Experience in managing a team of professionals.
Experience managing a budget.
Experience in the following areas: project management, community-based planning and development, financial or business management, social work, education, employment and training, or economic/community development.
