Professional advice and learning services in the domain of training needs identification, analysis, design, development, implementation, delivery, evaluation and validation required for internal/external Safety & Security inspectors and technical experts.
A pool of partially or essentially assessed candidates may be established to staff similar or identical positions with various linguistic profiles and/or requirements, as well as tenures (such as Acting, Assignment, Deployment, Indeterminate, Secondment, Specified period) and/or security clearance, which may vary according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION:
ED: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in education, linguistics, sociology, psychology, mathematics, physics, home economics or some other specialty relevant to the positions in the classification.
When education is required, candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCES:
EX1: Experience in applying the Systems Approach to Training in an adult education environment.
EX2: Experience in facilitating and managing multidisciplinary teams involved in the design and delivery of courses.
EX3: Experience in providing advice to senior management** on complex*** issues.
EX4: Recent* experience in researching trends in instructional design and in seeking alternative means of learning program delivery.
*Recent experience is within the last three (3) years.
** Senior Management: Up to the Director General level.
***Complex: Experience will be assessed with the amount, scope and diversity of work handled and level of autonomy demonstrated. Candidates have to provide clear and specific examples in their application.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Please note, as part of this work, the employee needs to be capable of transporting, manipulating and lifting training equipment that could reach a weight of 15kg.
Willingness to adopt flexible work hours as per operational requirements.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Secret security clearance
Candidates must be willing and able to travel nationally as required.
