The PSC is located in a brand new building at 22 Eddy Street, in the heart of downtown Gatineau. Our location is easily accessible and is located near Terrasses de la Chaudière and just a few kilometers away from downtown Ottawa. Our facilities meet the new 2.0 office concept and is WI-FI ready throughout the building. Our employees also have access to showers, changing rooms and reserved spaces for bicycles, which is ideal for those wishing to travel to work by bike, running or walking while using the nearby bike paths. Moreover, the PSC launched in March, a pilot project for active workstations, which now enables our employees to work while walking on treadmill or pedaling on stationary bike.
The results of this process will initially be used to staff two (2) positions indeterminately. A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff identical or similar positions on an indeterminate or term basis with various linguistic profiles within the Public Service Commission in the National Capital Region.
IMPORTANT: Other Federal organizations will have access to this pool only once the PSC will have made his choice of candidates.

A degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in computer science, engineering, information technology/management or other discipline related to the duties of the position.

E1: Significant experience (3 years within the past 5 years) in working with multidisciplinary teams to implement complex** IM/IT solutions.
Definition
** Complex is understood to mean a solution or project involving two or more of the following:
- A multi-platform set of technologies requiring integration;
- A multi-tier set of technologies requiring integration;
- Significant operational requirements relative to reliability and availability;
- A program of national/international or significant corporate scope.
E2: Significant experience (3 years within the past 5 years) in the service delivery or implementation of IM/IT products based on established methods and best practices (ITIL, Agile, SCRUM, Rational, System Development Life Cycle, and other equivalent methods)
E3: Significant experience (3 years within the past 5 years) in providing advice and guidance on IM/IT for various target clienteles, such as supervisors, clients or management (managers or directors)
E4: Significant experience (3 years within the past 5 years) in collecting and analyzing information from various sources to support the development or implementation of solutions for a system
AEd1: Valid TOGAF accreditation (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or any other certification in the field of enterprise architecture.
AE1: More than one year of work experience in more than one area of IT (e.g., IT security, enterprise architecture, databases, etc.). Please provide the dates and specify the IT areas
AE2: More than one year of experience in cloud computing solution design using AWS, Azure, IBM Bluemix, Docker, DevOps or other equivalent commercial platforms
AE3: Significant experience (3 years within the past 5 years) in developing and implementing enterprise software architecture
AE4: Experience in developing and implementing Enterprise Data Warehouse or Data Lake (EDW/Data Lake)
