Work environment

The Canadian Forces Training Development Centre is the Centre of Excellence for instructional methods and training development; e-Learning development services; and training development support to the CAF. CFTDC is active in the evaluation, research and development of training methods and technologies and also provides advice and guidance on instructional design and delivery of training to Canadian Armed Forces training establishments across the country.

Intent of the process

There is an immediate need to staff two (2) indeterminate position in Borden, Ontario. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:

Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in Education, Instructional Systems Design or another undergraduate degree relative to the position being staffed.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

*SIGNIFICANT is defined as at least two (2) years experience.

EX1 – *Significant experience in instructional program design, development, analysis and evaluation.

EX2 – Experience working in a training or education environment.

EX3- Experience providing information, advice and guidance to senior management and staff.

EX4 – *Significant experience producing formal written correspondence and reports for senior management.

EX5 - Experience in the management and coordination of multiple concurrent projects and teams.

EX6 – *Significant experience researching, analyzing and compiling data to provide recommendations to senior management.
