Our team is looking for a Junior Planning Officer. Your role is to provide analysis, strategic and operational advice, recommendations, and assistance to support the Canadian Coast Guard Responsibility Centre Managers and Senior Analysts (or Managers), by providing functional direction, decision-making and reporting requirements on various business and resource management initiatives.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma, OR a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma, OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, including experience gained in the Canadian Armed Forces.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in using Microsoft Office’s software, such as, but no limited to: Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Experience in extracting, analyzing AND synthesizing information AND preparing reports.
Experience providing advice to clients OR management.
Various language requirements
Current need is at the Bilingual imperative BBB/BBB level.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness and ability to work overtime on short notice.
Willingness and ability to travel on occasion.
