EDUCATION
• A secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
• Possession of a valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License - Aeroplane Category with valid Group 1 Instrument Rating AND possession of a valid Restricted Radio-Telephone Operator Certificate (endorsed Aeronautical);
OR
• Possession of a valid Canadian Commercial Pilot License - Helicopter Category with a valid Group IV Instrument Rating AND possession of a valid Restricted Radio-Telephone Operator Certificate (endorsed Aeronautical).

EXPERIENCE - MINIMUM FLIGHT TIME
At least one of the following :
• Total of 3,000 hours flight time, which includes 1,500 hours as pilot-in-command of which 500 hours is in multi-engine aeroplanes; OR
• Total of 3,000 hours flight time, which includes 1,500 hours as pilot-in-command of which 500 hours is in medium or heavy category helicopters; OR
• Total of 3,000 hours flight time, which includes 1,500 hours as pilot-in-command of which 500 hours is in single engine turbine powered aircraft

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a pilot at a Canadian Air Operator, Private Operator, Flight Training Unit or in the Canadian Military.

ASSET 11 • Experience as a helicopter flight crewmember on offshore operations.

ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Required to travel to local, national and international destinations

Conditions of employment

Secret security clearance

• Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot License.
• Hold a valid Driver’s license.
