Intent of the process

The position to staff immediately is located at 2745 Iris Street, Ottawa, Ontario. A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures within the Public Services and Procurement Canada in the National Capital Region.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
Successful completion of a secondary school education or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience in conducting complex security related investigations and interviews*;
Experience in providing advice and guidance on security related matters;
Experience in investigative case management;
Experience in conducting open source research;
Experience in writing reports or briefing notes to management.

*This relates to investigations and interviews that include the analysis of information from multiple sources, both from the private sector and government, which must then be analyzed, and; that are sensitive or confidential in nature.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience:
Experience in tactical or strategic intelligence analysis;
Experience in developing program-related operational procedures and guidelines;
Experience working with counterintelligence and human intelligence (HUMINT).

Secret security clearance

Willing and able to travel.
Valid Driver’s Licence.

A person may be appointed even though he/she does not meet any or all of the asset qualifications. However, it may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
