In order to have your application considered, all screening questions must be answered. FOR EACH EXPERIENCE CRITERIA, please provide the following information:
1 - Name of the department or organization where the experience was acquired;
2 - Title of the position occupied and the period(s) in which you performed the functions (M-Y to M-Y); and
3 - Specific details of tasks or projects demonstrating how the experience was acquired and concrete examples.
FAILURE TO CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE IN THE SCREENING QUESTIONS HOW YOU MEET THE SCREENING CRITERIA (Education and Experience essentials) WILL RESULT IN THE REJECTION OF YOUR APPLICATION.
Resumes will be used as a secondary source to validate the education and/or experience described in the screening questions.
This process will be used to establish a pool of candidates and may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with same official language proficiencies (Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB), various security profiles (Reliability Status, Secret), various tenures (Indeterminate, Temporary) using various staffing mechanisms (Indeterminate appointment, Term appointment, Acting appointment, Deployment, Secondment, Assignment) at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. EDUCATION
Ed1. A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics
or
Eligibility for a recognized professional accounting designation. The recognized professional accounting designations are CPA, CA, CMA or CGA.
EXPERIENCE
E1.Minimum of 6 months experience in at least one (1) of the following areas: (a) accounting operations (e.g. accounts payable); (b) corporate accounting; (c) financial planning, budgeting, and reporting; (d) financial management advisory services (e) auditing and internal control; (f) Financial Systems.
E2. Working** experience using the SAP Integrated Finance and Materiel System.
E3. Experience in extracting, compiling and analyzing financial information and preparing reports.
E4.Working** experience working with Excel.
**"Working" is defined as the depth and breadth of experience associated with the performance of a broad range of related activities by the candidate in the system for a period of at least two (2) months.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must demonstrate on their application that they meet the following criteria.
AE1. Recent* experience working in an office environment within a Federal Government organization.
AE2. Experience working with SAS-ABM or SAS-CPM
AE3. Possession of an accounting designation from a recognized professional accounting association (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA), or completion of at least one year of the programs offered by these associations to eventually obtain one of the designations.
* "Recent" is defined as experience normally acquired within the last two (2) years.
