Education:
A secondary school diploma and completion of three years of post-secondary study in Electronics Engineering Technology or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
E1 Experience providing technical support, including resolving hardware, software and connectivity problems for electronic systems, monitoring/alarm systems, instrumentation control systems or data collection systems
E2 Experience fabricating or installing electronic devices or modular electronic systems
E3 Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits, including repairs or modifications to electronic and electro-mechanical devices
E4 Experience configuring, troubleshooting and repairing computers running Microsoft Windows operating systems
English essential

Knowledge:
K1 Knowledge of analytical instrumentation used in chemistry, microbiology or medical research laboratories
K2 Knowledge of 4-20ma current loop transmitters and the characteristics and application of various types of sensors/transducers used to measure temperature

K4 Knowledge of electronic data acquisition and data transmission techniques
