Are you ready to make a difference? Whether you are a law student, a recent grad or an experienced lawyer, joining our team of prosecutors will be a transformative experience – both professionally and personally. You will work in the public interest, by prosecuting a broad range of criminal offences related to drugs, organized crime, terrorism, money laundering, human trafficking, war crimes, and so on. Your role will also include advising the RCMP and other investigative agencies, all while having an opportunity to learn about the culture, unique experiences and attractions in one of our 11 regional offices across Canada. You will work on important cases, get immediate courtroom experience, and address issues that are unique to the federal prosecution service.
We offer a development program to new federal prosecutors (LP-01) to gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be effective working-level (LP-02) prosecutors. The program provides a diversity of experiences and activities, including learning, on-the-job training and mentoring, to ensure our prosecutors have the competencies required to be successful.
As a prosecutor at the PPSC, you will make an immediate impact in the Canadian criminal justice system. Apply today!
