Your ability to communicate effectively in writing will be evaluated through your cover letter.
Candidates must be flexible and willing to work overtime and travel on short notice. Candidates may also be asked to relocate for a short period of time to the summit site, if needed. The duration of the term may be terminated early with a month’s notice. The Summits Management Office will be responsible for paying all expenses relating to salary, transportation, accommodation and overtime worked.
The immediate need is to staff a number of positions in the Summits Management Office.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions within the Summits Management Office (DSMX) with various language requirements and/or various linguistic profiles (see "Official Language Proficiency" section). Tenures may vary according to the positions being staffed.

EDUCATION
- A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training or experience.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in providing advice and recommendations on procurement issues in the Federal Government with medium complexity procurement** process.
- Recent experience* in preparing documentation for the procurement of services in the Federal Government, such as: Contracts, Requests for Proposals, Request for Quotes, and awarding contracts with medium complexity procurement** process.
- Recent experience* in reviewing and recommending improvements, advice on Statement of Work and Evaluation criteria and method of procurement with medium complexity procurement** process.
- Recent experience* in using PSPC or SSC procurement tools such as standing offers or supply arrangements with medium complexity procurement** process.
- Experience in using SAP in MM Module.
*Recent experience is defined as having performed similar task within the last year.
**Medium complexity procurement is defined as procurements involving two (2) of the
following attributes:
• Multi-year
• Multi-client
• More than $500K
• Sensitive in nature
• Multiple procurements related to the same project

KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of the requirements (i.e. legislation, regulations, directives, policies, practices & trade agreements) pertaining to procurement and contracting of goods and services in the federal government.
- Knowledge of tools mandatory public service and supply Canada.
- Knowledge of the Government’s Electronic Tendering Service (GETS).
