This inventory is for casual employment which is a temporary employment of 90 working days or less, in a calendar year.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION

Successful completion of a two (2) year acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer sciences, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed; or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE

- Experience in the troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of computer hardware and software problems in a networked Windows 7 or Windows 10 environment.
- Experience in providing information technology support to computer users.
- Experience in common desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office applications and email systems.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

EXPERIENCE

- Experience in a provincial or federal correctional environment.
- Experience in Active Directory account management.
- Experience in managing IT assets
- Experience in supporting BlackBerries in an enterprise environment.
