The intent of this ANTICIPATORY process is to fill:

STREAM 2 – Administrative Clerk (Finance)

A pool of partially and/or fully assessed candidates may be established to staff similar positions within INAC with various linguistic profiles, security requirements as well as tenures, which may vary according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION

AEDU: Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization related to the position being staffed.

EXPERIENCES

AE1. Experience extracting reports from databases or spreadsheets.

AE2. Experience in using an integrated financial system such as Oracle Financials or Statistical and Analytical Data Processing System (SAP).

AE3. Experience working with the Grants and Contributions Information Management System (GCIMS).

AE4. Experience in analyzing, verifying, processing or auditing financial transactions.

AE5. Experience in applying financial policies, procedures or directives.

AE6. Experience in verifying and coding invoices and expense claims, such as travel, hospitality, contracting/purchasing

AE7. Experience in providing administrative support services to a grants and contributions program.

AE8. Experience in providing administrative support services in a federal government financial environment.

AE9. Experience using an information management system (such as iCase, iRIMS, or GCDOCs).

Conditions of employment

Various security clearances: Reliability clearance , Secret clearance.

Willing and able to work overtime as required, may be on short notice.

One or more of the following conditions may be required depending upon the position being staffed:

Physical effort required when lifting, carrying and handling boxes of records and other various materials up to 20 kilograms.

Walking, reaching, bending and stretching to retrieve files and records stored on shelving up to three metres high.

Some work is performed in a file room environment where there is a continuous exposure to dust and dry air caused by a large number of shelved files.

For this selection process, our intention is to communicate with applicants by EMAIL for screening/assessment purposes (including issuing screening results, and sending invitations for written tests and interviews). A variety of assessment tools may be used in the assessment of candidates, such as: *written test, practical test, situational exercise, *oral interview, simulation, presentation, role play, work samples, performance appraisals and/or *reference checks.
