Record Suspension Clerk:
Performs day to day duties in relation to record suspension. Answer calls from a 1-800 line that is open to the public. Performs administrative functions to support the division.
Appeal Clerk:
Provides administrative support services to Appeal Division Board Members and Appeal Operations employees. Responsible for the timely intake of appeal applications and management of files throughout the appeal process.
Information Management and Mail Services Specialist & Information Management Systems Clerk :
The employee will be asked to provide support and services to the Information Management Section in relation to records management, mailroom services and / or, assist with IM projects such as Open Government and the implementation of GCDOCS within the Innovation Team.
The Parole Board of Canada (PBC) contributes to public safety with its core responsibility for the controlled, timed and gradual release of offenders back into society. The skills and talents of our staff are central to this work.

The intent of this process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates for future vacancies. The pool will be used to staff positions on a permanent and/or temporary basis within the Parole Board of Canada in the National Capital Region. The linguistic profile and tenure may vary depending on the position being staffed.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).
1. The employer-approved alternatives to two years of secondary school are:
◦ A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to two years of secondary school; or
◦ An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCES:
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook;
• Recent experience (within approximately the last two years) in extracting pertinent information from documents, and in entering data on a computer system;
• Recent experience (within approximately the last five years) in general office procedures such as reviewing correspondence, scanning documents, filing, managing a Bring Forward (BF) system, drafting letters and emails. ***The experience is required in at least three of the aforementioned areas.

Record Suspension Clerk Only:
Willingness and ability to work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. (Eastern Time)
*The normal workday shall be 7.5 consecutive hours, during the hours of operations which are between 7:00 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern Time. Employees must be willing and able to cover these hours of operations as they will have to work from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on a rotational basis (usually twice a month).
Reliability Status security clearance
A random and/or top down selection of candidates may be used in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the assessment process.
