A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established through this process and may be used by other federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act to staff identical or similar positions with various language requirements (English or French Essential, English Essential and Bilingual Imperative, BBB/BBB ) and various security requirements in various locations. These positions may be staffed on an indeterminate or temporary basis.

EDUCATION:
ED1: Successful completion of two (2) years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, library science, geomatics, information management, or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may serve as an alternative to the minimum post-secondary education stated above. Whenever the minimum education is met via this alternative, it is met for the specific position only and must be re-assessed for other positions for which this alternative has been specified by the manager.
NOTE:
1. Indeterminate period incumbents of positions in the CS group on May 10, 1999, who do not possess the education prescribed above are deemed to meet the minimum education standards based on their education, training and/or experience. They must be accepted as having met the minimum education standard whenever this standard is called for when staffing positions in the CS group.
EXPERIENCE:
EX1: Recent* and significant** experience working with clients to elicit, analyze, prioritize and document functional and non-functional requirements in support of identifying technical solutions.
EX2: Experience in building relationships with partners and stakeholders to provide information or data management advice and guidance with respect to IM/IT solutions.
EX3: Experience applying information or data architectures to develop sustainable IM/IT solutions that meet organizational outcomes.
EX4: Experience implementing an IM/IT solution, or a component thereof, to completion within the established timelines

2: "Significant experience**" implies the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of related activities for a period of approximately two (2) years in total.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
AEX1: Experience: Recent* and significant** experience directly interacting with stakeholders, employees, and senior management in analyzing, troubleshooting, and facilitating business solutions using a SharePoint environment;
AEX2: Experience: experience applying data management and geomatics standards and best practices
AEX3: Experience: experience using defined methodologies and best practices (such as: The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF); Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL); or Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK)) to develop or deliver enterprise-wide products or services.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Be willing and able to occasionally work overtime or travel on short notice.
