The intent of this process is to staff two indeterminate (permanent) positions. A pool of candidates may be created in order to staff similar positions in the future with various linguistic requirements, various security requirements, and various conditions of employment at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.

Education:
A secondary school diploma
Experience:
Experience working in the security industry, such as law enforcement, law, or security protection.
Experience working with MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Post-secondary certificate in one of the following: Law, Law Enforcement, Policing, Criminology or Law and Security or specialization in a field relevant to the position
Experience:
Experience in processing personnel security screening requests for personnel and contractors for a federal department.
Experience working with PeopleSoft
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge:
Knowledge of the Standard on Security Screening as prescribed by Treasury Board Secretariat
Knowledge of the various federal lead agencies with security responsibilities across government such as the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Public Safety, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Communications Security Establishment (CSE), and Privy Council Office (PCO)
