The intent of this process is to establish a fully assessed pool of qualified candidates. The results of this process will be used to staff similar or identical positions with various tenures, various security clearance levels, and/or various language requirements.

Membership in good standing in a Law Society of one of the provinces or territories of Canada or in the Order of Notaries in the Province of Quebec.
Eligibility for membership in the Law Society of (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba] within a specified period of time.

Recent experience in litigation services. "Recent" defined as less than 3 years.
Understanding of the role of the Attorney General and counsel in the Department of Justice.
